My Dad loves it
Got this for Dad for his birthday. He spends a lot of time in his recliner, but gave me his good one when I was recovering from surgery. The one he was using was *awful*, and was a little narrow for a big guy. This recliner is wide enough for him to sit in comfortably (and, more importantly, also accomodates the dog). He says it's very comfortable and plush, and he loves the storage area. He also likes that it will easily accomodate heavier folks; his older chair was not quite sturdy enough. The real proof: everyone who comes to visit wants to sit in his chair, and he sometimes has a hard time getting my Mom to sit in her own chair! It would be great if they offered more cover options; I was fortunate that green goes with my parents' decor. Other than that, it's perfect, and the price was very reasonable for such a good chair! Nice, inexpensive chair!!
I was looking for a new recliner to replace my old Lazyboy. We previously purchased an Ashley matching leather sofa, overstuffed chair and ottoman, so were familiar with Ashley's value. Rocker recliner!
Overall, I'm impressed with the chair. It's large and well built, weighing in at nearly 100#, and was very comfortable right out of the box. Of course, after three weeks, it's even more comfortable now. The rocker feature is an added bonus. For $300, this chair is an excellent value. Rocker recliner!
I'm a big guy (6'2"-245#) and the chair fits me well. The only thing that kept me from giving this chair 5-stars is the fact that the seat height is very high. If you are shorter than me, your feet will not touch the ground while sitting upright. Other than that, I highly recommend this chair! Rocker recliner!

Well, I've had the chair for just over a year and a half and I still like it!!!!! I have had no issues with the chair at all and it's no surprise that it keeps getting more comfortable all the time. I would definitely buy this chair again! Rocker recliner!

Ashley Furniture North Dakota Don't trust them Don't Buy There
I tried for almost 2 hrs to resolve this with CitiFinancial(Ashleys Credit Card affiliate) which was just a
waste of time. I then drove to Ashleys in Grand Forks North Dakota, which is approximately 75 minutes from my house
and my complaint was reported to the store Manager. This was followed up with a personal letter detailing my complaint. The store manager at the Grand Forks Location was rude, hostile, and just basically wanted to get rid of me. Rocker recliner!
I wanted $118.00, a finance charge which I unexpectedly received, after being told repeatedly by Ashley sales personell
that there would be no finance charge, no interest for a 48 month period during one of their special sales promos.
Since I could not get my money back because the manager said I signed the agreement. I then suggested $118.00 in store credit given that I have bought more than $3600.00 of furniture there
and even referred my family relative who recently bought a $699.00 mattress. Rocker recliner!
She would not compromise, would not listen to alternatives, and when I told her that I will take my businees
elsewhere and report you to the Better Business Bureau, she said that is "too bad". Rocker recliner!
I have also emailed your official site and wrote a formal complaint on 9/3/2009 without hearing a reply. Rocker recliner!
I know I signed the agreement, but I trusted your sales personell with the information they provided.
I cannot go thru 10-15 pages of legal contract talk in the store with 2 young kids in a stroller crying to leave
and a pushy salesperson trying to get us to sign and complete her sales deal. Rocker recliner!
Unfortunate experienece, rude management, deceptive advertisements, once they take your money, forget about any further assistance. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere where they really will appreciate your business. Rocker recliner!
